An increasing number of chemical substances are being released into our environment. Developing countries are particular affected with high contamination but often have inadequate control mechanisms and insufficient resources for risk assessment and management. Our courses focus on various environmental issues, are always interactive and provide case studies from Africa to equip you with hands on examples. We also tailor our courses for the need of the different stakeholders (including researchers, policy makers, NGO, industry and general public).

Update on previous courses

We just came back from a 3-day workshop at the Tropical Pesticide Research Institute (TPRI) in Arusha. It was a huge success, we had attendants from TPRI, University of Dar es Salaam, Nelson Mandela University, and from big farms.

Ecotoxicology & Risk Assessment

This course will increase the capacity of environmental scientists and managers to perform environmental risk assessments in order to inform environmental management decision-making processes, including registration of pesticides, set up of monitoring programs and filling research gaps.
